President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Boland joined Beavex in January, 2014 as its Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to its President and Chief Executive Officer in Q-4, 2014. He is responsible for providing strategic direction and leading the expansion and delivery of services for one of the nation’s leading providers of customized delivery solutions in the United States with over 500 employees, 4,000 independent contractor partners and 80 facilities across the country. Prior to his current role, Boland served as the Chief Operating Officer responsible for leading day-to-day operations and Sales.
Prior to joining Beavex, he was the Executive Vice President of Global Services for $3B Iron Mountain, which focused on transforming the corporate services functions to realize both improved effectiveness and efficiency, while also delivering significant cost reductions. Selected by the Chief Financial Officer to lead this program, Rich was also chartered with leveraging the operational standards platform that he had previously developed as head of North American Support Services and expanding it to include international business units. Prior to these corporate roles, Mr. Boland held full P&L responsibility for Iron Mountain’s $300M southern United States area, which included 13 states and 2,000 employees. Mr. Boland has a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hedge has a broad background obtained through 35 years of experience; 23 years of executive corporate finance and operations experience and 12 years of big four public accounting. Mr. Hedge has a variety of industry experience including, transportation having been the CFO of several 3PL, warehousing, TL/LTL companies. Other industry expertise in electronics manufacturing, process manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, agricultural, mining and chemicals, entertainment, and professional service organizations. He has been involved with IPOs, private placements, debt registrations, private bank financings and extensive experience in M&A buy and sell activities. Mr. Hedge spent 10 years as a principal in a professional services firm as a senior restructuring expert prior to joining Beavex. John is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and is a CPA.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. McDade joined Beavex in 2013 as its SVP Operations for the Central Division, a $100M+ operating unit in which he held full P&L responsibility. Scott was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in February 2017, and is responsible for implementing operational improvement strategies and efficiencies throughout Beavex. Prior to joining Beavex, Scott was Division President for Velocity Express and held full P&L responsibility for the Eastern United States. Mr. McDade attended the University of South Carolina with a major in Business Administration.
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Kierstead joined Beavex in June 2016 and is responsible for providing leadership to the IT Organization. He is passionate about delivering market differentiating technology, and treats IT as a revenue generator not a cost center. Eric focuses on solutions with significant ROI, and is implementing a systems roadmap to make Beavex the technology leader in Final Mile Logistics. Prior to Beavex, he was CIO of the International Division at Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OHL). Mr. Kierstead began his career in Telecommunications, where he was a Software Developer and moved into leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Mr. Kierstead has B.S. and M.E. degrees from Cornell University in Engineering , and an M.S. in Computer Science from Kansas State University.
President – Guardian Medical Logistics
Mr. Waldon joined Guardian Medical Logistics(GML) in 2004 and became a member of the BeavEx leadership team in 2012 as part of the strategic acquisition of GML. Mr. Waldon brings more than 25 years of experience in building revenue-generating businesses in highly competitive and dynamic market segments and has been instrumental in growing GML into a market segment leader. He is proven in needs analysis, forecasting and team-based implementation and has successfully generated more than $100 million in contract value growth in various markets segments including transportation, financial data processing, logistics and retail. At GML, he is known for identifying opportunities and implementing innovative market strategies that yield annuity stream revenue growth, increased market share and market differentiation. Prior to GML, as Senior Director at DST Output, Mr. Waldon innovated new solutions for both the Transportation and Property and Casualty sectors which became two of the most profitable growth sectors for the then global leader in Mutual Funds data processing, parent company DST Systems.
Senior Director of Human Resources
Jennifer Mancuso joined BeavEx in 2015 as the Director of Human Resources and was promoted to Senior Director of HR in May 2017. She is responsible for all facets of the Human Resources function including employee recruiting, employee relations, training and development, benefits, payroll, and legal compliance. Prior to joining BeavEx, Jennifer developed the HR function at McMaster-Carr Industrial Supply Company where she was responsible for partnering with the operations to transform the Sales and Finance functions. Before joining McMaster-Carr, Jennifer held a variety of roles in the Human Resources field in the food service industry at RARE Hospitality and Intertek. Jennifer has her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Sociology from Wake Forest University.
Corporate Controller and VP of Finance
Lauren Childers oversees the accounting and financial management of the Company. Prior to joining BeavEx, Lauren was SVP Global Strategy and Performance at Crawford & Company, the world’s largest claims administration company, with 8,500 employees in 700 locations in 70 countries. Prior to that, Lauren was the CFO of Crawford’s Broadspire business unit, a $275M division. Before joining Crawford, Lauren held a variety of finance, accounting, auditing, and corporate development positions with AirServ and The Carlyle Group. Lauren began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working both in the audit and transaction services practices. Lauren is a CPA and has a Masters in Accounting from the University of Southern California, and undergraduate degrees in Math and Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
